A small team, with a passion in common

Remember that split second before you click a tile and hope, really hope, you don’t blow up the whole board? That’s the magic we grew up with. For us at Minesweeper24, it wasn’t just a game tucked inside old operating systems, it was the ritual. The thing we’d fire up between college essays or while pretending to “work” in 2003.

Fast-forward a few decades (yeah, we blinked too), and here we are: four friends in our 40s, still obsessed with that perfect mix of logic, luck, and low-stakes adrenaline. Only now, we’ve swapped our shared dorm for a cozy development room, and our goal is simple, bring Minesweeper back, online, no download, no fuss. Because it never stopped being awesome. It just needed a second life.

Built with love, and a bit of nostalgia

Minesweeper24 isn’t some giant studio or VC-backed beast. It’s us, four longtime devs with a soft spot for pixel grids and near-misses. We’ve poured years of experience (and a fair number of coffee-fueled nights) into building a version of Minesweeper that feels familiar, fast, and fun again.

We wanted it to load instantly, work on your phone, and still give you that heart-thumping “is this a 2 or a 3?” dilemma. And we’re not stopping there. Daily boards, challenge modes, global ladders… yeah, the classic has grown up a bit, but not too much.

We’re still the same folks who geek out over flagging corners and winning with one tile left. And if that sounds like you too, well… you’re in the right place.

Why are we doing this?

Honestly? Because someone had to. Too many great games from the early web era just vanished, or got buried under popups and paywalls. Minesweeper deserved better. So we decided to fix that. No installs. No weird ads. Just good old-fashioned logic gameplay, reimagined for the world we live in now.

We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel, just polish it up, give it a home, and maybe surprise a few people who forgot how satisfying that final click can be. So whether you’re a longtime sweeper or just discovering it for the first time… welcome. Come play a few rounds. Relive the thrill. You already know where to click.
